Rocks in a Box was created from a cairn I created in my studio. I then made several sketches and chose this view to paint.
The inspiration to work with rocks comes from several visits to the Lake Superior Northshore in Minnesota where I would come across these beautiful “carins”, rocks stacked on each other, created and left behind by other creative rock lovers. I consider many of my new paintings as collaborations with strangers I’ve never met.

On Larger prints we may wait until we can determine the actual shipping and insurance costs before figuring the total costs. On small works of art we attempt to ship within 72 hours, but larger works, over16X24, may require one week to crate for shipping. All paintings are fully insured and we will
provide you with tracking information.
