Pussy Willow Tree
I decided to create one painting every day during the month of February – twenty-eight paintings in twenty-eight days. The subject matter was the same for every painting, an imaginary scene of a tree on a hill. My goal was to paint this scene over and over using different techniques, different seasons, different lighting and different color palettes and different mediums. In the end I completed 25 paintings in twenty-eight days. I was pleased with many of them, but in the end I only considered five paintings good enough to keep. The Pusswillow Treeis one of these.
I know this is not a Pussy Willow Tree. But when your 5 yr old granddaughter comes into your studio, looks at a painting and calls it a Pussy Willow Tree what are you going to do? Sold Unframed, but the handmade distressed frame shown may be available at an additional coast. Original artworks displayed on this website are one of a kind, and purchases of are determined by availability.

On small works of art we attempt to ship within 48 hours, but larger works, 18X24 or larger, may require up to seven days for crating and shipping.
