Mount Magazine, Ark Another painting in my cloudscape series. My goal with this series is to paint clouds in as many ways as I've experienced them in my travels throughout the Ozarks.
The Full Moon Rising over Mount Magazine is in the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas. Mt Magazine, at 2,753 feet, is the highest mountain in the state. For twelve years I lived in the shadow of this mountain and had the opportunity to see it under every weather condition possible. This is just one of many images of the mountain captured on the emulsion of my mind. Original artworks displayed on this website are one of a kind, and purchases of are determined by availability.
