Columbia Bottoms Conservation area Winter Solstice painting of this magnificent tree that stands a few hundred yards from the confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers. Judging from its size,it was a young tree that was here before Lewis and Clark started their 1803 journey up Missouri seeking a path to the Pacific.
Alone is one of fourpaintings of this tree that I created depicting the tree, from the same location, throughout the seasons. Of the original four paintings this is the only one still in my possession. Spring, summer and fall sold quickly, but Winter Solstice will take a special person. Original artworks displayed on this website are one of a kind, and purchases of are determined by availability.

On small works of art we attempt to ship within 48 hours, but larger works, 18X24 or larger, may require up to seven days for crating and shipping.
